Deena Eddy
Deena Eddy, cousin to the late Nelson Eddy, began her career at the early age of eight. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors’ Guild – American Federation of Television & Radio Artists) and AEA (Actors’ Equity Association), she cherishes every moment on stage and screen. She truly believes we all have a path in life to follow, as long as you have the strength, courage and tenacity to do so. She has trained extensively in all mediums (Acting for Stage & Screen, Musical Theatre, Opera/Operetta & Dance).

As a young girl her first love was Broadway. Ms. Eddy credits her mother for allowing her to follow that dream, supporting her training, and dedicating countless hours with agents, managers, auditions, rehearsals and performances. At the age of ten she was cast in the title role of Annie in Broadway’s National Tour. Due to the non-availability of Adult supervision on the road, the role was refused on her behalf. Heartbroken, she learned early the business is not all roses or easy steps. She also learned that having been offered such an iconic and demanding role meant that she was on the right path.

As an adult she has performed Off-Broadway, in top Regional houses across the country, cruise ships, and in film/TV. Some of her favorite roles include: Jekyll & Hyde (Emma, Directed by Tony nominee, Drama Desk winner, Robert Cuccioli), The Fantasticks (Luisa), The Rise of David Levinsky (Dora), Oklahoma! (Laurey), and Candide (Cunegonde). She has recorded music obtained directly from top Broadway Composers/Lyricists, majority of the pieces are not in print, many she is the sole artist to have a recording available for the public to hear.

Ms. Eddy covets her training, the belief that we can never learn enough, and the importance of professionalism.

Most recently she has become the owner of Zebra Spirit Productions LLC (film/TV).

In life we are all equal. We’ve all been blessed with gifts. How we use them and how hard we are willing to work to be worthy of them is up to each of us.
